The Society for Conservation GIS (SCGIS) is comprised of volunteers committed to advancing conservation GIS by building and supporting a vibrant community of conservation GIS practitioners. The Hudson Valley chapter (HV SCGIS) members meet online quarterly, and includes GIS users and professionals at land trusts, environmental conservation and advocacy organizations, environmental education programs, colleges and universities, and other organizations throughout the region. Join the HV SCGIS Google group to become an official member, receive notifications of quarterly meetings and other updates from chapter coordinators, and communicate with others in the group.
